And wouldn't register with vast majority of public at large. Need to concentrate on doing things that are actually productive.

For example - hearings and investigations into Trump's unconstitutional acts.

That would be good if we got back to Obama first term levels with a Democratic President. On legislation, having one House we might be able to stop more bad legislation passing.

What the House could do is oversight and a lot is needed!

That said, I seriously doubt enough Republicans will resign early leaving seats open at the same time.

because of the GOP Senate.
But, Open Hearings on Trump Admin crimes, multiple law suits against Trump for not allegating the money Congress passed for many agencies. Bring in ALL of Trumps Secretaries and grill them relentlessly. Stuff like that.

any number of topics. I would go with invasion of the cities.
But there is also the tariffs not approved by congress, collusion with Russia over Ukraine.

Televised. Daily.

Then impeachment of Trump, Clarence, and various cabinet members.

(I know, I know, the senate will never convict Trump, but it is worthwhile regardless)

Then pass bills reinstating ACA subsidies, child tax credit, raising minimum wage, etc. even if Dems don’t take the senate- make them kill the bills, and fuel the demand to kill the filibuster.
