Democrat wins special San Diego County Board of Supervisor's special election
Paloma Aguirre has won a special election to fill the seat on San Diego's County Board of Supervisors District 1. Turnout was around 22%. Aguirre, the mayor of Imperial Beach, won by more than 6,000 votes over Chula Vista mayor John McCann.
