It has a 9,000' runway, but it is at 5550' elevation.

Flying in there the 2 times I did back in 2021 & 2022 it was on a CRJ or similar though. When I went out there from Jacksonville, it was a 3 leg ticket; JAX to DFW or ATL, then SLC then Butte.

But those guys in the "sharp end" (as the Brits like to call the front of the plane) of AF-2 know what they're doing. Like I said, I don't want to read about any innocent deaths.

Why not Atlantic City? 10 days ago, I kind of got that they would land here in Zoo-Town and get shuttled in swanky limos to the Paws Up…but Butte to Dillon? Strange. Maybe there’s a billionaire with a sweet place out in the woods where they’re hatching a plan for the end of FOTUS. Anything is possible.
