The con artist is a well known grudge holder
There is no such thing as forgive and forget in his mind. So while someone may convince him to say something to give an appearance that all is well and the spat is water under the bridge, it won't be. The con will be plotting and planning how to crush Leon for the rest of his life. He will never get over it.

And, I think, given the tremendous egos involved, just about guaranteed.
Guessing kraznov's devices are well out of the reach of his teensy hands & that he's sedated to keep him in line.
But I don't believe the silence will last.
