Sure, we need to point out the misgivings and failures of opposition, but the primary method should be developing, promoting, and implementing solid policy that is good for the masses. Eventually one of them will “win” and the other will “lose” but schisms this severe often cause significant electoral fallout down the road (see the post-primary Democratic Party in 2016). Right now, I hope they do as much damage to each other as possible, and given that they’re the world’s two most powerful narcissists, this has the potential to go on for a while. Even if this ends today, they’ve still diminished one another and exposed serious problems with the way government is being run.
