How in the fuck can this "man" be President of the United States of America?

Publicly humiliating himself in front of the whole world and by extension the country.

25th Amendment now.

...and I'm doing it again this time around. Every time I see his face or hear his irritating voice, I shake my head in utter incredulity that some many Americans find anything at all appealing about him.

The Hallucinating ChatGPT Presidency
https://www.techdirt.com/2025/04/29/the-hallucinating-chatgpt-presidency/

This is not the response of someone working from actual knowledge or policy understanding. Instead, it’s precisely how an LLM operates: taking a prompt (the question about job losses) and generating text based on some core parameters (the “system prompt” that requires deflecting blame and asserting greatness).

The hallmarks of AI generation are all here:
• Confident assertions without factual backing
• Meandering diversions that maintain loose semantic connection to the topic
• Pattern-matching to previous responses (“ripped off,” “billions of dollars”)
• Optimization for what sounds good rather than what’s true

Just as an LLM will confidently generate plausible-sounding text without any real understanding, Trump generates responses that sound like answers while avoiding any engagement with the actual substance of the questions.

He doesn’t answer the actual questions. He doesn’t address the actual points. He doesn’t understand what’s actually going on, so he crafts a rambling nonsensical answer based loosely on the question, while following the system prompt’s instructions to make sure the answer makes himself look good.

If that doesn't satisfy, try Opera. Pagliacci.

Bah! sei tu forse un uom?
Tu se' Pagliaccio!

Bah! Can't you be a man?
You are a clown.

Comer wants to subpoena Biden's dr for his mental acuity but maybe should focus on this current thing.

The GOP fears the MAGA cult if they go against Trump. Only couches fear JD.

People walk up to him and say, "Wow. I've never seen such a great president ever. You're such a great president."
(I'm trying to be funny, of course).

I don’t think anybody in the entire country could possibly be worse than DJT. Sure, Vance is an idiot, but he doesn't have the cult following that DJT has and the Republican party doesn't fear him the way they do DJT. And unless there are Republican shenanigans (which is always a distinct possibility), he should be easier to beat in the next election, should we still have elections. Just like Gerald Ford had the ugly legacy of Nixon that he couldn't shake, so will Vance be too associated with DJT to win any elections on his own.
