My belief...unchanged since January 20th...was that Trump wanted to avoid prison, first and foremost, then "seek revenge," but he wanted revenge against AMERICA for electing Biden in 2020. Enlisting Musk as his helper monkey gave America a double dose of Trump. He wouldn't have had the stamina or brain power to cause half the chaos Musk caused. For five months, Trump TROLLED America, Trump PUNISHED America, and he's not done yet. He'll do things differently if Musk's not directly involved, but look at his freak show CABINET...Bobby Camelot Jr, Patel, Hegseth, Bongino, Gabbard, Noem...he doesn't NEED Musk to destroy the country. It would happen sooner WITH him, but Trump will do his best to make it happen if he's not around to bounce and prance.
