Is there a chance in hell states atty Gens can prosecute trDUMP for anything done in their specific state to illegally toss the 2024 election ?

Wouldn't that be just dandy ? But holding your breath is ill advised.

These are state crimes, pardonable only by governors and constrained by state laws.

Federal election laws, based on civil rights laws, set standards but they have been under nuclear attack for years, leading to a near Jim-Crow situation in some states. ("Voter Verification" and so on.)

I defer to more knowledgeable folks in this matter.

And currently seems to have anxious tapping-fingers on the Twitter-X pulse, but he’d really have to be out of his freaking mind to confess to election fraud.

And he's probably right.

Musk approaches the law man/woman and says Ì have evidence (recordings/videos/witnesses) of trDUMP discussing tossing the 2024 election so he was guaranteed to win.

1.) If Musk and his hi-tech teens could make this happen and put djt back in the Oval Office,... trDUMP promised to use the power of the Presidency to award multi billion dollar contracts to Musk's companies.

2.) If trDUMP got back in the White House all his legal issues would poof just disappear with jail time no longer hanging over djt's head.

In return if Musk fixed the election for trDUMP, he would arrange to make Musk's 40 or 50 investigations into Musk's companies just poof go away.

Musk was willing to blow the whistle on trDUMP about these illegal quid pro quo arrangement,...

BUT MUSK WANTS TOTAL, COMPLETE, AND IRREVOCABLE IMMUNITY - unless Musk purgers himself pertaining to these trDUMP illegalities. Looking for both federal and state blanket immunity for Musk.

A special prosecutor would be assigned to handle such a convoluted case against a sitting US President. Immunity for Musk could break this thing wide open.

Wouldn't that be delicious ?

Unless Musk can prove he actually stole the election for Trump.

A social media confession might generate headlines, but without evidence…nothing.

Since there has been no evidence of election theft/rigging/tampering introduced in any court so far, I don’t expect anything new to emerge.

Because no one one knows why.
