Rep. Jerry Nadler is calling for an investigation into ICE agents detaining one of his staffers in his office late last

umm. Will the ICE agents investigate themselves??

BREAKING: Congressman Jerry Nadler is calling for an investigation into ICE agents detaining one of his staffers in his office late last week while refusing to show a warrant.

By law agents must show a warrant when entering a private office.

The very first thing that needs to happen -- irrespective of what is done eventually -- is an investigation into what happened. Mocking Nadler for calling for it is out of line, and is actually rather reprehensible.

Well, maybe once they investigate the russian hoax they will get around to this one?

Investigations are meaningless when he will just refuse to comply, his staff wont show to subpoenas, the media will stop reporting on this in a month. It is 100% pointless. The status quo has gotten us here. So, lets keep doing the same exact thing that has gotten us here in the first place.

Just pretend it didn't happen? Or don't investigate at all?

Look, the accountability may not come anytime soon, but if you fail to investigate and get the facts out NOW, it is highly unlikely you will be able to do so down the line.

. . . but I don't think Nadler would have standing to file such a suit.

But Nadler calling for an investigation is going nowhere. He should encourage her to file the suit.
