At first they were relying on drones donated from other countries, they now produce their own. Instead of making bigger drones like we have in the US arsenal ( almost the size of a small plane ) , they went for smaller ones similar to commercial drones used for leisure or photography. They are deployed with teams who infiltrate close to the target and deploy them.
