Think of Trump's "presidency" in the same manner as that famous exchange between James Bond & Goldfinger.

BOND: "Are you expecting me to talk?"
GOLDFINGER (chuckles) "NO, Mr. Bond! I expect you to DIE!"

HOWEVER IT HAPPENED...sure, the Electoral College and Republican efforts in voter suppression and gerrymandering played a big part, and we'll probably never know the FULL MEANING behind Trump "thanking" Musk for being "so good with election system computers"...HOWEVER IT HAPPENED, we're saddled with his psycho ass until January 2029, unless whatever deity / entity you believe in intervenes first.

The first expectations we need to purge are the ones that tell us he'll veer from the items on this list:

1). Play golf
2). Watch TV
3). Hold the occasional MAGAt rally
4). The "birthday parade"...unless we hear otherwise, it's going to happen
5). Screw around trolling America on social media
6). His crypto scam
7). Seeking revenge
8). Milking questionable foreign leaders for $$$$$$$$

So, Trump is like Goldfinger. He's not expecting us to talk. He's expecting 78 million Americans who receive Medicaid to sacrifice themselves on the MAGAt altar for the "greater good" (with "greater good" defined as "a tax cut for Elon Musk&quot .

The point of the post is that ANGER over all of this is reasonable and appropriate, but EXPECTING ANYTHING ELSE...expecting the Republican Congress to stop him, expecting the MAGAt (formerly "Supreme&quot Court to stop him, I don't see it happening.

I don't know what the remedy is, beyond voting in next year's Midterms, but I do know that Trump isn't performing the duties of the President because he never intended to. He intended to do what's on the list above, and most likely much worse, but he's an arrogant, evil dick...Just like Goldfinger, although Goldfinger's probably smarter.
