Dumbasses are confusing their metaphors per 86

It's deep six that they are confusing it with which means destroy or dispose of something irretrievably.

The servers knew when they took orders they could tell the customers we were out of that item. It surely didn’t mean the chef assassinated the special of the day.

When the cook put up a sign saying "86 Chicken Pot Pie", he wasn't telling us to assassinate the Pot Pie!

They've long since commandeered our political discourse. Even here, they e got us talking about this nonsense, whether or not comey threatened Donnie, instead or real issues like why tf are people accepting a fascist president in the first place and where are the calls for impeachment over his blatant grift and corruption and ignoring of the laws and the courts?

any of the following:

to discard something (e.g., abandon)
to disregard (e.g., an order)
to stop or cease (e.g., an action)

It does not mean literally "kill" or "assassinate." I think there was one DUer implying that - but I have never heard it used in that sense.
I have never understood it to be construed as a threat to a life.

Like demented dogs, republicans like to snap at their own farts.
