Ron Johnson says Fat Orange Rapist Felon Grampy Jesus' one big beautiful bill isn't looking so beautiful

'Like the Titanic': Republican hints Trump's big budget bill is sinking

Johnson seemed uncertain if the bill would pass, and argued that it's time to turn the ship around, even if it's already sailed.

"From my standpoint — if there's one goal to this budget reconciliation process, it ought to be to reduce long-term deficits," Johnson told reporters. "As it's currently being discussed, I don't see any scenario in which we're not actually increasing long-term deficits."

A reporter asked him whether he thinks it's too late to go back to work on the bill.

"No, I think — no, not at all. I mean, I keep being told, well, that ship's already sailed, my response is, well call back to port. I mean, the other ship might be like the Titanic and maybe going down, but..." Johnson said, trailing off.
