What kind of shoddy police investigation is this? Video Calls Into Question Claims of Kidnapping That's Kept Man In Jail

I don't understand how they watched this video and arrested this man.
This woman should be prosecuted. Mr. Patel has been in jail for almost a month. Held without bail. I don't know if he's a citizen or not. But if he is not a citizen, just imagine if based on her false allegations , he was shipped to El Salvador?

This is the original news report - The tale she spins is fantastical.

I understand we all react to traumatic situations differently, but doesn't make sense that you are in the middle of Walmart and someone tries to snatch your child, but you don't scream for help? Then you continue shopping?
This woman is a liar.

and law enforcement in general were incompetent fools. And now it's about not wanting to admit they were wrong.

I wonder if they viewed the video at all .

She claimed it was because her kids enjoyed riding on it.

But I wonder if it was partly to bring attention to herself as needing assistance so she can make accusations.

She is suing Lyft also for something. I think she claims harassment. I wonder who the accused is in that case.
