Elderly neighbor's gov. subsidized ride to doctor's appointment tomorrow was canceled.

Our 88-year-old neighbor just called to ask for a ride for tomorrow. Of course, we agreed to take her. She is upset but said that she is so glad that Trump is in charge so that this type of thing would be fixed.

We have a Community grant that provides transportation for the elderly through the DoT, also, the VA has a transportation service my dad used to use sometimes.
I hope she starts paying attention, but if your neighbor has been used to getting told what to do most of her life, it might be be difficult for her to understand what's going on.
Which is a problem with a lot of US citizens who should know better.

Could your neighbor maybe be confused?

There could be many reasons why they had to cancel transport.

In any case, I am glad you are taking her.

If she's sharp, she should definitely be concerned about Abbott and his buddies.
