Musk's Authority comes from.......

This is my first post here, been lurking forever. Anyways, this has been eating at me since Trump took office. How does Elon Musk have any authority to do anything without any vetting or approval from congress. I mean, he has access to things that require serious security clearances, and has not passed any governmental checks. Why are the Democrats filling suit to stop him from any actions?

they all probably fear Elon's data and power to create AI more.

But, yeah, somebody should arrest him, throw a black bag over his head and whisk him away. He's a terrorist.

'just' that authorized/encouraged by his best friend; everything he does (I suspect) is/would be found to be illegal.

Good question, and Welcome.

Trump will just pardon Musk.

It is going to take a ground swell of people to throw out the billionaires.

No one to stop him. Corrupt SCOTUS and MAGA congress-

Musk is his agent of destruction and the GOP base lives it all.

The end.

The fact that Dems are not filing suits left and right to stop this shit and are not being very vocal about stopping this is mind boggling...

Contact your state attorney general. ALL Americans personal financial information has been compromised by musk and his band of teenage hackers. Sensitive data like bank account routing numbers (!!!), social security numbers, all of it. Musk and his band of hackers have it now. Your state attorney general can sue on your behalf, but you need to flood them with calls/emails asking what they’ll do to protect your data.
