Where are the injunctions from our judge shopped on districts? The student loan forgiveness was killed in record time.

People need to be speaking out about this shit. Not cow towed because we lost election and want to focus on economics.

For chrissakes there isn;t gonna be a next time at this rate. Fight, kick, scream, holler.

1. Actually it took about 2 weeks for the student loan forgiveness to get stayed

On the other hand it took less than 3 days for Trump's birthright citizenship to be blocked. I get that Trump's funding order is a disaster and should be unconstitutional because Congress already approved that spending, but this was something for less expected and proper lawsuits/plaintiffs will need to be found. But at least one lawsuit has already been filed.

I'm not sure that this could have been done any faster short of having the legal documents drawn up ahead of time like newspapers do with obits.

I get that Trump sucks and he's doing all sorts of things that are cruel and immoral at best and cruel, immoral, and illegal at worst, but there are still structures that are in place and there is work being done against him and his policies.

But we didn't get here overnight. It's been decades of congressional dysfunction that has moved more and more power to the President. Ordinarily that's not as much of an issue, and with Trump it highlights to flaw of that. But it's going to take a long and concerted effort of fix how our elected officials work to change this meaningfully.

kick, scream and yell, but it will be because I paid back the money I borrowed and didn't feel like everyone else should be responsible to pay it back for me. It's not exactly free money, it comes from somewhere, and that somewhere is the pocket of every American. I kept my promise to pay back money I borrowed, and others should be held to the same standard.

9. I stated

that I made a deal with the borrower, and promised to pay it back. I worked very hard to do that, and fulfilled my obligation as promised.
I also stated I was not interested in paying back anyone elses loans, people who signed up for the same deal and now what me to help subsidize it. No, I'm not interested.
And what does any of that have to do with Trump? I don't care what he thinks, he's a jackass. That doesn't change my position.

You could also startup a not for profit and take donations from all of the people who support this concept. Most of us aren't interested in participating. We have our own bills to pay and kids to feed.

I know somebody who diligently paid every month for well over a decade, but because of the ridiculous compounded interest paid over TWICE what they originally owed, and STILL owed THOUSANDS of dollars.
