Certainly some convicted criminals and former deportees will be leaving, but many others will be caught up in this.

So when you hear of a raid of 50+ people, I doubt very much that the majority are former felons. These will be people that for the most part, are hardworking, family members that keep their nose clean so they don't get arrested and deported.
So, let's not try to rationalize their deportation policies with things we've "heard". We'll leave that to fux and friends. The reason is pretty simple, they're racists appealing to the lowest common denominator.
