To Canada. Then help Canada join the EU. A win-win for Canada and Europe. T**** would be furious.

(1,141 posts)He claims Trump will end all the wars in the world because everyone is so afraid of provoking him because he's literally crazy and could order the US military to attack anyone for the slightest reason. Like this is a good thing.

(68,885 posts)I'm guessing this dipshit had never heard of Adolf Hitler. Everyone was afraid of Hitler, and he was literally crazy, and that not only didn't end all the wars in the world, he actually started the deadliest war in history.
I might have suggested you point this out to this irredeemably idiotic fuckweasel, but you'd need a jackhammer to get it through that thick skull of his.

(107,530 posts)to lose their autonomy at the hands of the US any more than I want to see Ukraine violently seized by Russia. "Buying" other countries/land is a relic of past centuries, and discussing it today invites WWIII. Not even in jest... Have the attacks on our own democracy dulled us to the threats underlying TSF's BS comments and pomposity?

(824 posts)However, it would make far more sense for Canada to own it than the U.S. I just hope Denmark continues to resist selling out to orange man. The EU part is serious, though.

That type of action opens the floodgates for a War of the World to commence, the violence, the destruction, and the suffering to ensue.

(19,816 posts)The problem is the GIUK gap. A very strategic stretch of water between Greenland, Iceland and Scotland that bottles up Russia's Northern Fleet. I spent a good bit of time there in my Navy days, looking for and tracking Ivan.
That may or may not impede NATO's ability to monitor it. Then again, who's to say we'll still be NATO members in a few years so that might be moot. One thing's for sure, Demark will take their time and make a rational decision. More than we can say about Amurka.

(2,598 posts)Where teenagers kill 5-year-olds in classrooms, health care is nearly nonexistent and getting worse every day, its citizens eagerly elect a felon rapist and racist to lead them, and necessary workers are being put in camps and cells just to please that leaders hate and need for power. They all say What a step up for us!"
