They can vote to do away with programs that help the lives of their voters at the request of Donald Trump, for fear of crossing their Leader.
They do not fear their voters at all. Why is that?
Is it they know they will get their votes no matter what, because they have been educated to Party loyalty and they support their Leader, also?
Like a cult, they will support their Party and their Leader over their very lives?

(122,434 posts)Trump can turn the voters against them if they don't toe the line, so they fear Trump in the first instance. But their ultimate fear is of the Trump-cult voters who will vote against them if Trump tells them to.

(6,460 posts)They are just as responsible for every decision he makes, as he breaks the law and they do nothing.
Republicans are part of the problem and should be held accountable, but seeing as we we no longer have law, it's now mob rule by vote, we have no mechanism to prevent a dictatorship.
We can not vote our way out of this, sorry if you do not believe it, but we need elected government officials that actually care about the law they were voted in to protect. Little Lindsey called another state to interfere with an election, what consequences did he suffer?
