TRUMP LOST. Vote Suppression Won. (by Greg Palast) via Thom Hartmann

Wow, a QUITE revealing piece that confirms what I said several times over shortly after the election: that it was 'stolen' (as in RIGGED) via VOTER SUPPRESSION.

Only this guy brings the NUMBERS:

TRUMP-LOST-Vote-Suppression-Won-by-Greg-Palast thomhartmann - Daily Kos

If the purges, challenges and ballot rejections were random, it wouldn’t matter. It’s anything but random. For example, an audit by the State of Washington found that a Black voter was 400% more likely than a white voter to have their mail-in ballot rejected. Rejection of Black in-person votes, according to a US Civil Rights Commission study in Florida, ran 14.3% or one in seven ballots cast.

There are also the uncountable effects of the explosive growth of voter intimidation tactics including the bomb threats that closed 31 polling stations in Atlanta on Election Day.

So many 2020 Biden voters “stayed home” in 2024.

matter where the vote supported a woman's
right to choose but not in the 2024 Presidential
Elections. There is a reason McConnell has
blocked all efforts to clean up and modernize our voting systems Republicans cheat.

Shades of bush v Gore 2000 in Florida. Removing 90,000 90,000 voters from voting
makes a difference although the Republicans still had to get the SCOTUS stop the counting
of the vote in Florida because they knew that
Gore would have won.

End of story. BTW Musk's being into the vote
counting computers aka central tabulators was a factor too.

Palast was on top of it then, and I am not surprised he is on top of it now.

But honestly, we desperately need campaign finance reform. Probably before we can correct the voter suppression that is going on.

(Have not read the article yet ... but I will.)

to question the validity of the quite detailed documentation of voter suppression tactics that, I myself, had been posting about long before coming here,

but rather to ask what, if anything, can be done. Which is a damn good question, Malaise, all considering.
