Rolling Stone's Tim Dickinson: More people voted against Trump than for him. His popularity was 47% on Day One, and

he's out of the gate with an unpopular blitz.

There's an enormous reservoir of political benefit that will accrue to folks who refuse to be cowed, and stand up to him effectively



This goes for normal people too by the way. The best way to preserve your rights is to use them. The federal government has prodigious power, but little day to day control of you. Exploit that gap.

And his popularity among Republicans, which is what congressional Rs are scared of, is through the roof.
