So Mitch McConnell Worked On His Legacy Yesterday....

It was Mitch that was the 3rd no vote against Hegsteth.

As Mitch is good at counting votes he knew that he can get away with the no vote and Hegsteth would still be confirmed.

In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Tr**p knew the vote would go that way and gave Mitch permission.

Mitch got Tr**p SCOTUS and this was his payback.

Now Mitch looks like he defied Tr**p - but no penalty was incurred.

Everybody wins - except us!!!

Someone that wholly incompetent in charge of the worlds largest organization- yeah, I’ll stick to my prediction.

Brought to life by McConnell pledging to make the US ungovernable in President Obama’s first days in office. Not realizing, it would seem, that switch can’t be unthrown.

So here we are…

Everyone, please, repeat after me… THANKS, MITCH!

..but history will remember him as a politically corrupt majority leader who abused the position and changed the rules to suit his agenda. He will certainly be remembered as the Senator who could have rid the country of Trump via impeachment but lacked the spine to put country over Trump.

There is absolutely nothing McConnell can do to gain even an ounce of respect from me. He is one of the biggest reasons we are where we are.

Is responded to with the statement
“The only thing any repugnant will get from me is my utter contempt“.

... moments to insure a positive legacy. He took none of them, when it could have mattered. This vote just shows how he can be reliable when it makes no difference. If anything, this makes Mitch look worse; it highlights his lapses.
