It's the only plausible explanation why Felon47 is leaning while everyone else is vertical.

(5,944 posts)Everyone except Governor Newsom is leaning forward. Even Melania. Unless something happened to them on the plane that is causing this, which is pretty unlikely, this photo is fake.

(13,088 posts)There are quite a few photos from Felon47's first term that show exactly the same thing -- it looks like he's leaning into the wind. Trump has certain proclivities: he must be on any list of the richest people; he must be first, even if it means he has to shove another nation's leader out of the way; he must be last, so all eyes are on him as he makes his entrance (usually after making everyone wait); he can never be seen as a loser, nor weak, nor not knowing more than anyone else in the world about any topic. He must be the tallest person in a group, which is where this photo comes into play. There has been speculation -- backed by non-altered photographic evidence -- that he wears lifts. That's not misinformation or disinformation or alternate facts. It's just a fact. How the facts are interpreted is up to the viewer. Personally, I don't care if he wears lifts or not. I just thought it was a funny photograph.
A few other facts: Trump will rail against someone on social media and call him or her childish names, but when standing face-to-face he doesn't act that way. He's like the class clown who has been sent to the principal's office for discipline.
He is extremely uncomfortable around strong women -- especially strong women of color. Watch the presser where L.A. Mayor Bass is laying out the steps that are being taken to recover from the disaster. He couldn't let her state a single fact without jumping in to contradict her with a lie. Mayor Bass: "We are working hard to make sure areas are safe so we can let people return to their homes as soon as possible." Felon47: "They don't need to wait. They can go today. People can just grab dump trucks and go to their homes and begin cleaning up now."
We're stuck with this asshole for the next four years, so we each will find our personal way to cope. Denial, fantasy (Jan. 6th didn't happen, or if it did, it was a Love Fest), keep your head down and try not to anger the King (the Repugs response, it seems), etc. I choose humor, specifically theater of the absurd. It's working so far.

(35,515 posts)It’s possible to see light UNDER the soles of Blowfish One’s shoes. Yeah, photoshop or another form of image alteration.
The only other possibility is that whatever he has, they’ve all got it. Which as unlikely as it is would explain a hell of a lot.

Given the wide reporting of the fact Trump regularly wears lifts gives it credibility that he does. So, that may give him up to maybe 3”. At that extreme, he’d find it difficult to walk normally. Lifts are not like women’s heels. They aren’t made for walking. Which, Trump again, is widely reported as having difficulty walking. Particularly, ramps and stairs.
There’s also the issue of the stupid hat. Which could also add a couple of inches. In that photo it doesn’t look like it is down tight on his scalp. So, there’s an inch to a inch and a half there.
So, doing some math. I would say, based on that photo and a comparison with Gov Newsom at 6’3”, Trump is probably somewhere around 6’ down to 5’10”.

(13,875 posts)Just being a chonky person with minor scoliosis and carrying about 30 lbs more than I should have, my back and knees compressed enough I lost between an inch and a half and two inches from around the age of 40 to 60.
At 62, I had knee surgery on both knees, there went about another inch.
I'm still losing fractions of inches as I've got disk degeneration disease and I'm only 66.
I've lost 4 inches in total since the age of 40.
I don't think someone as vain as *rump will admit to losing any height as he ages. He's got problems admitting his hair is basically wisps and there's sag around the waist and ass, losing height would be unthinkable to a Golden Boy like him.

(26,647 posts)Here they are for comparison.
In five inch heels. Putting her at six feet four. He's wearing heels, too.
Regardless of how tall he actually is it's "Malaise clear"* he's a deceitful, weak, insecure, pathetic man-baby.
*Special adverb form created to honor DUer Malaise. In other words, equal to pelucidly.
