I mostly draw with fine line Sakura markers, believe it or not plain ole black Bic ballpoint biro pens (but not in the biro style), and want to get back to some heavy pressed colored pencils on Canson colored paper. And also black colored pencil on vellum.

Also want to paint in acrylics again. I might try water colors again at some point.

Have been using a wonderful digital art app called "infinite painter" that mimics many art materials the past ?3 years now.

Painting is my peaceful time where I concentrate on doing something I love and learning.

Out world is just so mean and hateful that I like making someone pause and remember the small things that bring us joy.

I play music while I paint and it's so cathartic to turn off the worry if even for a bit.

Been doing this since I was a kid. Most kids do, but most stop after a time.

Other than frustration at tines (I can't get it "just right", though I usually keep improving) it brings me a lot of joy, sometimes the fun of a creative challenge, too.
