Ron Johnson the clown piles on

Ron Johnson joins GOP lawmakers calling for conditions on CA wildfire aid

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) has joined some of his fellow GOP lawmakers in calling for conditions on California wildfire aid.

NPR’s Steve Inskeep asked Johnson on Wednesday’s “Morning Edition” about if he believes “that it is Congress’s place to instruct” California “as to what to do on a state and local level, with, with — with forest management, with building codes, with whatever it might be.”

“If they’re asking for American taxpayer dollars to fund their mismanagement, absolutely,” Johnson responded.

The recent deadly wildfires in the Los Angeles area have devastated the region, destroying property on a large scale and resulting in numerous deaths.

Republicans are so fucking brain dead they don't know that California pays more in taxes than it gets back from the federal government.

We should withhold Repuke/Maggot salaries for their mismanagement of this country. We can start with Ronnie, add the other drunk Ron...then tack on Margi, BoBo, Mace , Moses and all the others that spend more of our taxpayer dollars on vacations than they do at work.

FU Ron!

"One of the Republican senators back from a trip to Moscow is suggesting that Congress went too far in punishing Russia for meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

“I’ve been pretty upfront that the election interference — as serious as that was, and unacceptable — is not the greatest threat to our democracy,” Sen. Ron Johnson said in an interview with the Washington Examiner published over the weekend. “We’ve blown it way out of proportion.”....(more)

Then it should require states to implement effective strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissons which are the root cause of catastrophic climate change that is resulting in more intense wildfires, hurricanes, etc.

Surely Ron Johnson would agree with that.
