It is just past 7 am in London, the BBC radio broadcasts to the US have been doing an exemplary job

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/live:bbc_world_service

Over the last many hours they have had numerous and diverse POVs, from parents of hostages,- who specifically praised President Biden for the months long work- a woman from a Palestian agency who had much to say about the IDF.

Apparently the deal that is supposed to start part 1 on Sunday 19 January 2025, I the same one that the Biden team proposed back in May.
I cannot locate a citation at this minute for that, sorry.

One interviewed person specifically mentioned Netanyahu administration foot dragging & that 'some' hard right members of the Knesset are grumbling.

Of course they are grumbling, they want to wipe out the Palestinians, in Gaza and the occupied territories. Thats not what they're getting with this deal.

Title-Israel and Hamas agree to Gaza ceasefire, raising hopes of a reprieve

snip-"The deal, mediated by US, Qatari, and Egyptian officials, will take place over three phases, each slated to last six weeks. During the first phase, Hamas will release thirty-three hostages—women, children, and those over fifty years of age—and Israel will release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, begin to withdraw from some areas, and facilitate a significant increase in humanitarian aid into Gaza. In the second phase, Hamas is slated to free the remaining male hostages while Israel withdraws from Gaza. The third phase would include the return of deceased hostages and the beginning of reconstruction."

title-Netanyahu: 'Gov't wont meet until Hamas stops trying to change deal'

snip-"
Hamas is reneging on the understandings and creating a last-minute crisis that is preventing an agreement," the Prime Minister's Office announced on Thursday morning.

"Hamas is retracting explicit understandings that were agreed upon with the mediators and Israel in a last-minute attempt at extortion."

"Israel will not set a date for a Cabinet or government meeting until the mediators announce that Hamas has approved all details of the agreement," the statement concluded. "
