(40,762 posts)I was a junior in High School, working at Walmart #6 in Fayetteville Arkansas. Price wars at the gas stations. 23 to 25 cents a gallon. Summer of 42 was awesome as was the book. Loved the Stones, still do with all the new stuff from the 80 year olds, but ZZTops Brown Sugar was, well, ZZTop. Your mom was right about Boo. A belated Happy New Year My Friend.
