The Report Means Nothing

Last edited Tue Jan 14, 2025, 08:42 AM - Edit history (1)

They don't care. No one cares. The news media and pundits desperately want you to think it matters because you will watch the news or engage with them on social media.
The Mueller Report said he was a criminal too and we see how much that mattered.

All this report does is rub our collective noses in the fact that not only did he get away everything, he also became president again despite the 4 years we all lived through and despite being a fucking fascist criminal.

Fuck Jack Smith.
Fuck Merrick Garland.
Fuck every person that voted for him.

All these people in Congress. News media. General public. Even the majority of the general public has no idea.

Unless you are very old none of us have life experience for what is coming.

I actually agree with most of your sentiments, but "fuck Jake (sic) Smith" is not one of them.

If you look at the conclusion section of his report, he basically says that there was no standing DOJ policy about whether or not to take Trump to trial, and that the decision to drop the indictments was all Merrick Garland's.

Better to stick to facts, reason, logic, data.

Especially when after a personal attack against the OP
you go on to state an agreement with all points except one.

I mean it's not like it took a Sherlock Holmes to ferret out the deets. I just don't know how to feel anymore about our "system of justice." Wonder what the outcome would have looked like if Barack Obama had been the perpetrator?

America has become a joke - we no longer stand for the rule of law or common decency - Trump voters fucking DISGRACED us.

trump and magats may think it all does away because he slinked away without being held to just, historians and history won't be able to ignore that he's a convicted felon and a criminal.

10. Jack Smith is deffo NOT a villian in this. Garland waited FAR too long to appoint him (closing in on 2 years too long).

Smith did the best he could IMHO.

11. Jack Smith is not to blame. He did his job, his duty to the American people.

He was attacked and delayed at every turn, but in the end he came to the right conclusion, as shown in his statements in the report. If not for the oligarchy, if not for their weasels and appeasers, we would have gotten justice.

I suspect Trump isn't going to make it to the inauguration, or live much past it. His own people will take him out. Seriously, Project 2025 didn't work this hard to have an idiot running things. No, they want the golden boy, Vance, in charge. He'll take orders and not be oblivious to how it works, not be behaving like a cartoonish dictator. That's not what they want, and I'm surprised Trump made it this far.

Once Trump is out, however they do it, then we'll see more normal nominees for posts. We'll see a lot of the crazy talk dismissed (Gosh, we didn't realize his issues were that bad! Good thing he had that stroke, right, America?), a more subtle undercutting of rights.

Still going to be hard for us to make it through, but hey, the Germans survived Hitler and now they're being snobbish about us having the death penalty. They're so much better than us. I guess a decade or two of P2025 will show the world they're right, but eventually the people will stand up. Those idiots in charge now? They should remember that thing with the sharp blade.

It's happened before, it will happen again. It takes about 80 years before people wise up and stand up. Then we'll work like dogs to get to where we were, with decency and some measure of fairness, and then we'll be back here again. Because humanity is insane and incapable of learning.

I guess I'm grateful I didn't have any more grandchildren. Maybe I can convince the one to not have children. My family will have died out, so it won't matter how much destruction, how much sorrow, is coming.

Or Biden could do something and this will go away and Harris will be president and we can start shutting the MAGA idiocy down so decent people don't have to be scared anymore.

Yeah. Not going to happen. Biden doesn't have it in him.

Man, that's a shitty take. Germany survived, but it's dead wrong to say Germans survived.

Nothing will be done, no one cares.

In fact the MAGAs will love Trump even more.
Treason is something they admire.

He walked away Scott free after all that he did.

Of course, I predicted he would. There’s no real justice in this country and never has been.
