Dems need to step up

Trump, of course, and his minions like Tuberville are all over FAUX, Newsmax and Social Media telling lies about the CA wildfires and threatening funding.

Where are the voices screaming that CA contributes more to the Federal budget than any other state and bails out all the red states on a regular basis?

Enough of this BS! Have we learned nothing from the election?

I've appreciated Chris Murphy, Swalwell and a few others lately, but of course they are drowned out by the propaganda and the corporate media's willingness to play along with it.

On this and so many issues, especially since they can not count on the corporate media to be even-handed.

But nobody pays attention to us... The truth is never as interesting to the public as sexy sensationalized conspiracy disinfo being screamed by some outraged white dude.

America is bought and sold. Democrats can talk all they want. But the media won't cover them. It is fucking obvious by now the free media died years ago.

Was Melon Husk, aka "Mr. Free Speech" getting caught tweaking the Twitter algorithm to ensure MAGA lies and disinfo got the maximum amount of circulation while tweets from the most prominent Dem accounts got suppressed... Now Zuckerberg is doing the same with Facebook.

Can you imagine if Elmo went the other way and cut off the flow of MAGA accounts? Donnie would be suing the absolute shit out of twitter right now and Congressional Trumpers would be discussing a national ban for the platform

but specifically on this issue which is receiving almost 24/7 coverage, every Dem who is interviewed needs to point out what I said in my OP. The fact that Dems are threatening CA while lives are still in danger and the fires are still burning is outrageous, and that's the tone they should be taking.

FACET

* Fast (quick response),
* Aimed (at audience of original propaganda),
* Clear (instantly digested),
* Everywhere (abundant, plentiful)
* True (unassailable),

That means "Dems need to step up"

AMEN! Thing is, even the only pro-Democratic press is paying attention to Biden winding down his presidency, and the fire controversy bullshit.

The reason we collectively pay for these losses is because we have national markets -- operations, supply chain, and finance. All these not-so-smart business people are inviting higher interest rates and higher prices. This is not the inflation fight for which some thought they were voting.

The effects of increased risks and costs are national.
