Much of the orange clownshow is to distract from what they're actually doing.

Remember when R's were so upset that Biden tapped the Strategic Petroeum Reserve to stave off Saudi price gouging?

IOKYAR-
39. H.R.92 — 119th Congress (2025-2026) To provide for the development of a plan to increase oil and gas production under oil and gas leases of Federal lands under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of Agriculture, the Secretary of Energy, the Secretary of the Interior, and the Secretary of Defense in conjunction with a drawdown of petroleum reserves from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

From repealing the ACA, to greasing the skids for fascism, they've been busy.

H.R.221 — 119th Congress (2025-2026) To abolish the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
H.R.218 — 119th Congress (2025-2026) To authorize State enforcement of immigration laws, and for other purposes.
H.R.191 — 119th Congress (2025-2026) To repeal the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022.
H.R.190 — 119th Congress (2025-2026) To provide for expedited removal of certain illegal aliens.
H.R.142 — 119th Congress (2025-2026) To amend chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, to provide that major rules of the executive branch shall have no force or effect unless a joint resolution of approval is enacted into law. (I'm no lawyer, but this may be to summarily undo Biden's executive orders, but prolly has a carve out for their god emperor?)

Anyhow, there are 90+ bills currently sponsored by Biggs.

1. Also, what they are not doing...any serious attack on inflation, balancing the budget, decreasing national debt...

etc. Instead of responding to Greenland, Panama, etc. nonsense, gotta keep asking: "where is the inflatoion reduction plan Donnie?" and the balanced budget plan and the national debt reduction plan and on and on. Don't let him control the narrative and waste time on the dribble that comes out of his mouth/Truth Social every 20 minutes. World leaders need to do the same.

And we Dems would be smart to arm the next round of House and Senate candidates with concrete policy proposals to address all the things that the voters de facto said they cared by when electing Donnie but he will not or cannot address. We have to set ourselves up as a strong voiced and rational opposition party for the immediate cause of winning back the House and Senate in 2026.

Several of these bills are as looney as Trump is.

Even when I've heard people in the media acknowledge that this stuff is a distraction, "....but back to invading Mexico..."
